Monster Worldwide (NASDAQ:MWW) is expected to report its Q2 results on Thursday, July 28. The company reported sub-par first quarter results in May, and its guidance for the second quarter was much below market expectations. For Q2 2016, Monster expects earnings of $0.00-$0.04 per share, compared to earnings of $0.10 per share reported in Q2 2015. In the first quarter, Monster’s overall revenue declined 9% year-over-year to $158 million and missed market expectations of $161 million owing to subdued demand in North America, where sales dropped by 11%. The company is likely to face continued headwinds in expanding its top line in the near future. Analyst consensus estimates compiled by Reuters suggest that overall revenues are likely to decline by 13% to about $157 million in the upcoming results.
